CONCLUSION
Nevertheless, We under-estimate the cost and effort from the initial proposed team to execute it in a record time of 1 and half months. For this kind of project, we need an Experienced team with full-time bandwidth, we didn't start in that way, so we needed to expand our team using ETHColombia DAO's treasury to accomplish this very hard challenge. At the same time, we expanded our matching pool.
With a lot of hard work, we executed in the time we proposed but with many learnings and issues inside the DAO. Even, we got a strange feeling because we made it in the context that of our leader member from our Colombian nodes / Local ETH Community was kidnapped by Guerrillas in the middle of the QF round and weeks later he appeared murdered.
When he was kidnapped, in the middle of QF round, we decided to encourage ETH Arauca to launch its project because all our actions are Public Goods oriented, and to support the hard times they were passing. They won the first place with +2K from the matching pool and the address used to participate was owned by the second leader of ETH Arauca, but 1 week later, those funds were stolen by the Guerrillas because they got access to the seed phrase of that wallet.
